Wow it's been a crazy few days! It's been wonderful to hear everyone's feedback as they receive the decks and explore what Kyle and I have created together. It's also lovely to see what prints people are choosing to order and keep in their homes. Joy & Contentment is certainly one of the popular ones and always makes me smile when I see her come through.
When I sketched this piece I had a fairly clear vision of what I wanted to create and bringing a big tree companion in the background was a nice departure from some of the more portrait focused cards. I was also able to use some of my own photography for the tree and grasses from one of the places where I feel the most joy and contentment here in Wales - a beautiful ancient oak forest.
